Mary Atkin is a professional licensed counselor who works with toddlers, children, adolescents and adult clients.  Lifelong curiosity has led her to pursue experience with all different stages of development and she is passionate about using empathy and the natural talents and strengths of her clients to increase healing and promote more peace in their lives.

Mary graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University with a Masters in Counseling and has finished level 1 and level 2 training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy.  Mary has experience with play therapy, mindfulness and trauma work.  She often worked with issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma and emotional regulation.  She uses a strength based model and believes in being an ally and advocate for her clients.
